Data Deletion

Request deletion of Luminary app data

This page explains how to request deletion of data associated with the Luminary mobile application, operated by SCHMUT/WEISS GmbH. Luminary does not require or provide a user account.

How to request deletion

  1. Email luminary.partygame@gmail.com with the subject Luminary data deletion request.
  2. State whether you use Luminary on Android or iOS.
  3. If available, include the Luminary installation or device ID. If you made a purchase, also include the Google Play order number or Apple transaction information available in your Storefront receipt. Do not send payment-card details or passwords.
  4. We may ask for additional information that is reasonably necessary to locate the relevant pseudonymous records and verify the request.

We normally respond within one month. If we cannot reasonably associate the information you provide with a Luminary record, we will explain this. Because Luminary has no account and does not collect your name or email address in the App, an email address alone does not identify a particular installation.

Data covered by a deletion request

Where we can identify the relevant records and no legal exception applies, we delete or anonymise data controlled by SCHMUT/WEISS GmbH, including:

  • the Supabase device profile associated with the Luminary installation ID
  • Luminary app-interaction and gameplay analytics associated with that installation ID
  • Supabase entitlement snapshots and related product status
  • the RevenueCat customer profile associated with the same anonymous app-user ID, including entitlement and purchase-status information that RevenueCat processes for us, to the extent it can be deleted

Data stored only on your device, such as local settings and player names, can be removed by clearing Luminary's app data or uninstalling the App. Player names are not transmitted to Supabase or RevenueCat.

Data that may be retained

Some information may not be deleted immediately or may need to be retained:

  • Google Play and the Apple App Store independently control Storefront account, payment, receipt, refund, and transaction records. Use the privacy and account tools provided by the applicable Storefront to request deletion of those records.
  • Purchase, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, legal-claim, and deletion-request records may be retained where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Austrian accounting records are generally retained for seven years.
  • Data may remain in restricted backups until those backups are overwritten according to the ordinary backup cycle. It is not restored for ordinary use after a valid deletion request.
  • Aggregated or irreversibly anonymised statistics that can no longer be associated with an installation may be retained because they are no longer personal data.

RevenueCat and Supabase act as service providers for the App data described above. Apple and Google process their Storefront records under their own terms and privacy policies.
