Sit in a circle
Everyone sits in a circle around an open space, with the empty bottle in the middle.
Spin the bottle
Whoever's turn it is spins the bottle firmly and waits for it to come to a stop.
Dare or question
Whoever the neck of the bottle points to answers a question or takes on a small task, for example truth or dare.
Pass it on
Then the next person spins. As many times as you like, with no fixed end.
Variations
- Classic: whoever's turn it is chooses truth or dare.
- Gentle: only harmless questions, ideal for warming up or for mixed groups.
- Points instead of drinking: whoever skips a task picks up a penalty point.
