  1. Set the order

    Spin a bottle or simply go around the circle. That way it's clear who goes next.

  2. Choose truth or dare

    The person whose turn it is decides between truth and dare.

  3. Question or task

    For truth, they answer a question honestly. For dare, they carry out a task.

  4. Pass it on

    Then it's the next person's turn. Anyone who doesn't want to can take on a small replacement task.

Variations

  • Gentle round: only harmless questions and tasks, perfect for mixed or new groups.
  • Points instead of penalty: whoever refuses a task picks up a penalty point instead of drinking.
  • Example truths: what was your most embarrassing date? Who in the group would you go to for advice? Example dares: sing for ten seconds, give someone an honest compliment.
